but now trained in the school
of hard knocks
consciously doing
consciously pursuing
thou shalt not
play with fire
igniting the lighter
mentally conspiring
repentance
premeditating conversation
forgive me Father
for I know
what I’m about to pursue
I ought not do
Those conscious ones He sees
Those conscious ones He pleas
